Hi, this is my first post and probably not my last!

I have noticed on my mates Audi A3 (52 reg) that when he opens his doors using his fob, he can also open the windows by keeping the button pressed on the key fob. Same goes for when he locks and closes the windows. On my Passat the front windows are auto, 1 flick and the windows open or close except for the back windows. Is it possible to programme the car so it has auto windows of the fob or full enclosure windows??????

    Please help Saj.

Yes it is possible, but i think you'll need to buy an auto windows module. (do a search on ebay....)

Nope... can be done with a cable and laptop using vdc pro software.

Unlike the auto-windows module this can be used over and over again

Got a cable winging its way to me as we speak to do the job...

Your right in what you are saying, but i think the car needs to have a comfort module to just use vagcom..

So for cars without the comfort module, there's autowindows

Vagcom wont do it, you need VDC-Pro (dos prog) with a serial cable

In my Passat the front windows go up/down automatically with one flick of the switch, but the rear windows you have to hold the switch so the windows go up/down. Would the rear windows work the same as the front with this KVW100? Did you have to purchase the a cable to use the KVW100 or does it just plug into the car somewhere??
