Hi All

I recently bought a Golf Plus 1.9TDI SE 105 on a 57 plate (Nov 2007).

I had no service documentation so I contacted the VW garage that sold it new and they sent me the service history.
It states the word longlife next to 2 services back in 2008 and 2010 and then oil changes at roughly 20,000 mile intervals. The last change was at 102,000 and the service light is now on at 118,000. Can I safely assume that it is on the LongLife Plan?

I now want to service independently on an annual basis. Does that mean that I should still stick to longlife oil? I have looking at 507.00 spec oil because I am not sure if the car has a Diesel Particular Filter. These are the oils I am considering :-

Mobile 1 ESP 5w30 - Its states 507 compliant but then some exclusion for PD engines on Time and Distance service. Not sure what that means.
Quantum Longlife III - There appear to be 2 different types with the same name but one is about £10 more (for 5 litres). Which One to go for?
Gulf Formula GVX 5W - Seems to tick all the boxes
Castol Edge 5w30 - Most expensive of the lot.

Which one of these should I go for if i intend to change oil every year (10,000 miles). I am favoring Mobil1 as its available locally from Euro Car Parts for under £30 but I am concerned about the exclusion warning stated on the back.

Please advise
Regards
