All I can say is that my car arrived at the dealer on the Friday and I collected it the following Wednesday (was actually available on the Tuesday) and no delays that I was made aware of. Given that no one else has reported a n experience of this type on any of the main Audi boards part of me can't help thinking that the dealer had suddenly found the car had been damaged and needed repairing and used the software story to avoid upsetting Audi_Newbie, but maybe I am being unfair to the dealer.

Must admit, that was my first thought when I read it. At least he has a decent car while he is waiting and not putting miles on his new car!
