150 tdi gold..cutting out and hot non start

Golf 150 tdi cuts out when getting hot and will not restart. no faults in the ECU memories. tried both new 109 and 167 relays as could hear a relay click like mad when trying to start and glow plug light flashing.

is this normal for glow plug light to flash and relay click with a non-starter....(no faults in memory).????????

checked fuel suppy and fuel pump is working as fuel is flowing and pump can be heard...although note that the fuel pump didnt appear to be working at first when originally car cut out. but even tho it works now...car still wont start. however, when left to cool down car will start and run fine till took for a long road test and same symptoms.

has anyone had similr problems or ideas to look at??????

now car wont start at all...hot or cold!!!! relay 167 fuel pump still clicking like mad when atempting to start. thinking maybe ECU prolem. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY IDEAS OR WHERE ELSE TO LOOK???

after hours of work and no help..determined and managed to solve problem. starts fine now

Sorry that no one could offer any help....i have a 2000 1.8 so not geared up on the diesels.

anyway be interested to know what the problem was and the fix.
