Someone with a VCDS for 2013 Audi A4

hi, I'm new to there forum and was wondering f anyone in the North Yorkshire/York area has a VCDS which will work with my car, its got an airbag light on the dash, i know what the fault is, its occurred because i have replaced the seatbelt after my old one broke. I was wondering if anyone could, turn the light off/ clear the fault for me. obviously I'm willing to travel to you and pay you for your time, just name your price.

Hi, don't know if your sorted yet, but I might be able to assist?
My cable should be fine for your car, just need to find where the connector is.

Yes, sure do, it's the full vcds software(version 14 I think) and proper cable(NOT cheap chinese copy).
Mine is one that you plug into a laptop. (I've used it on my car which is VW, but the cable is designed to work on the VW/audi/seat/skoda models.
Your audi should have a connector somewhere in the dashboard area (mines in the centre console). It might be behind a plastic cover or something, but shouldn't be too difficult to find. As long as it's 16-pin (which it will be), will be fine.

I think the port is in the same place as an A6, so below the steering wheel & above where your right shin would be

Yeh I've just checked, it's is a 16 pin one near the steering wheel rake adjustment !

I did try to PM you, but I've got less than 15 posts on here, so can't apparently. Thought you might of seen my location? Would you be ok with travelling to Richmond area? About an 1hrs drive from York(depending on how fast you travel )
On the plus side, if you needed tools for something, I've got mine at my disposal (not that you will probs)

Yeah that would be fine, ive got a house over in Barton anyway so regularly commute over there !
