You would be better asking in the model sections. I know A4audi are in Glasgow, the Glasgow dealers are supposed to be good too. If you ask JimC64 in the A6 C6 section, he is based down your way.
Current- A6 C8 40 tdi quattro s line Daytona Grey
    Gone-S3 sportback, A6 C7 biturbo saloon,A4 B 8.5 avant, A6 C6 3.0 tdi Quattro saloon, A6 C5 2.8 Q Avant

Why don't you phone and ask the main dealer. That way you'd have a benchmark price. I know they can be expensive but they also have menu prices for things like disc and pad replacement.
    What are you wanting done?

Can this little sub thread be moved to Q7 section where same question has been asked.

Ok, thanks. I don't know how to move am article on better. Excuse my forum novice ignorance!

Main dealer has quoted me £444.11 for rear pads (and brake sensors as that's compulsory to be done at the same time) and 598.01 for the front pads and sensors. Frightening, considering I've done only 17000 miles and they are literally spent on the motorway in free moving traffic : I'm a 6am commuter to Edinburgh and Dundee, drive back evening when traffic is calmer too.

I'm going to book in with 'A4AUDI' in Clydebank. They're reputable and AFFORDABLE.
