    Hi,

    Firstly, hello to everyone.


    Changing the wiper motor assembly yesterday on a 1998 B5 Passat 1.9TDi 110, I disconnected the two plugs from the ECU to gain better access. Now all reconnected, the car starts but then dies almost immediately.

    Then I remembered I omitted to disconnect the battery - <slaps wrist>

    Suspect the immobiliser maybe an issue but have now idea how to t/s or reset it (No VAGCOM available).

    Any ideas?

    You'll have to plug her into a diagnostical machine, is the immobiliser light flashing?
