On my 2006 4F Allroad the seat belt warning light and tone have started coming on while I am driving, repeats maybe 20 times then stops for a while. It can be when I am on my own or with passengers. Even if I attach all of the seat belts on empty seats, it does not stop it.

This is a real pain and I would appreviate suggestions ss to how I can stop it.

    Regards,

    Michael

Depending on the cost of a replacement, you can also deactivate it with VCDS.

I think it's in central electrics. I'll have to double check later though.

You have to go into the coding and uncheck the seatbelt chime check box.
