    Hi guys,

Was thinking about getting a powerflow exhaust system installed onto my A4 B8 and was just wondering if any of you have experience with them and if they are any good?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi there

I had a custom built Powerflow exhaust fitted to my Honda Civic 1.6i-VT and it was great! This was some years ago, but what I liked most was the fact that you could tailor it. I wanted a fairly quiet system as the car was loud and thrashy enough to start with.

When I had it fitted I found it to be a bit too boomy, so I took it back and they swapped the silencer for a quieter one FOC. The exhaust looked good, was very well made and sounded great, with a marked improvement in performance (coupled with a cold air intake of course!).

Like I said, this was years ago, probably 12 years or so, so I can't comment on them currently. That said, they're still going, so they must still be doing it right....

Cool thanks for your help! Think in going to go ahead with it in the next couple of months or so 😊

I haven't ever tried a powerflow system but I can speak good things about Jetex having one on my golf. Quiet where you need it (i.e. < 3000 rpm) and after that it opens up. I would warn you though, as long as your car has good sound proofing for the motorway unless you like that kind of thing - it can be noisy nothing too serious though. However, I'm a sucker for tunnel noise at every opportunity though! Some investment into some nice hangers would help a bit.

    However the pros:
    1) I've never had to replace any of my jetex exhaust parts after having most of it on the car for over 5 years now.
    2) It does give some fantastic economy when cruising.
    3) Noticeable power increase, and an improvement in the width of the power band (smoother gain in power delivery)
    4) Doesnt look like a fart can. I rock a nice understated double tip.

    I need all your V-Powers.
