Just wanted to share my good experience of Wakefield Audi performing my little upgrade.
Frustrated by the fact I couldn't use my iPhone if I wanted to use google maps via a SIM in the dash, thanks to advice found in here I realised this would be resolved with a firmware upgrade and a few settings changed.
I explained my frustration and findings to the nice people at Wakefield Audi and after a quick visit so they could check out my car, they found the applicable piece of software and advised of the process of its installation. I needed to rebook and leave it with them for the day.
My next appointment was arranged with a courtesy car and upgrade was completed for less the £100. My car was cleaned and vacuumed also.
Overall I was extremely pleased of the whole process and price but I think for me the stand-out bit was the checking process.
They have a drive-in service where you drive in to the dealership via a dedicated automatic door leading to two lanes through the garage, there's a chap waiting who identifies me from my reg number and I leave my car with him, then greeted again by a service team member where after checking in, I am given the keys to the courtesy car which is waiting for me where I left mine! The whole thing is then repeated when I collect my car at the end of the day. Brilliant if the weather is bad or struggling for a parking spot.
Just a brilliant all-round service that all dealerships should have.

Well Done to Audi Wakefield. I bought the A8L (2013) model three months ago and found that the Iphone would not work with a data sim installed. So far I have wasted hours if not days with Audi Finchley Road who tell me there is nothing that can be done to solve the problem. Unbelievable.
