amazingly, none of the valves are bent. the cam has taken the impact, but, i have known valves to fracture and not be spotted and then fail a few miles down the road, so 10 new valves will be fitted, plus followers and a new cam. then it needs a new clutch and dmf, 2 new driveshafts and 4 flexi brake hoses. we will be busy for a good few hours on this one and his bill will be approaching 3k but everything else on the van is good and how much do you need to pay for a tidy low mileage t4 ??
