    Hi guys.
I have been writing a thread a about this car that I brought as a non runner and have started a new thread as the last one was more to do with getting it started, which after a new injection pump it did, however it is still not running properly.
Have spent the last couple of days sealing the lower sump as it was leaking., only to find that there is a tiny crack I couldn't see. New sump ordered.

The engine seems to be leaking badly on the rear of the left intake manifold somewhere difficult to see where exactly.
I also believe there to be another oil leak somewhere not found that yet either.
The engine is very rough and difficult to start when cold and better when warm but It is no where near as smooth as it should be. it is constantly smoking too. I have done the injection timing but it hasn't sorted the problem. I'm a bit out of my depth I think but I come this far and would love to get it running properly...

Glad to hear that it finally started ! However what surprize me more is that the car is no longer an B6 but actually an B7 !

Yeh my bad. Posted in wrong thread initially😖 lol
Just spent some time changing a intake manifold gasket as I suspected it to be leaking. Not much difference if I'm honest. Played around with the Injection timing, to try and stop the smoking. It's currently flickering between 0.8 and 1° atdc. I believe the setting to be 2° +/- 2°?? I can't seem to find a point where it stops smoking (it stinks) and where the engine runs and idles well from cold. Usually when I let the engine cool and restart it a back to sounding awful. Any help/ideas really appreciated, as I'm starting to think the engine is toast.
