Aluminium / Chrome Water Spots on Window Seals!!!

Hi

I have permanent water spots kind of a cloudy look or maybe oxidizes from acid rain on the window trim ( dont know if its aliminium or chrome) I have tried a few metal polishes but no luck, iv also tried white vinegar but no luck.

Anything im missing?

Use the search feature as this has been done to death, clearly a manufacturing fault as only really seen on the sides, those in warranty have had them replaced multiple times.

Those more creative have wrapped them in situ, which is what I'll be doing when funds allow.

as above, common issue and you'll find lots of threads on the www as it happens on most audi models.
