Don't understand why but VW UK are now listing a GTE NAV model in addition to the normal GTE.

£35,520 vs £33,755, price before £5000 Gov rebate

Includes Discovery Nav Pro and Apple CarPlay etc.

Non Pro Nav not available on GTE.

I can see why they want to bundle Nav pro with the apple play.

apple pley lets you use google maps nav, almost making the Nav system worthless!

I still think a £1700 upgrade is a lot of money for an inbuilt Sat Nav, when a decent universal one is less than £200.00. Even allowing for the bit of extra software & 64gb SSD that is also included. Also maps only free upgrade for 3 years where as "most of the shelf" sat navs have lifetime maps. I would be surprised if they sell many with the Discovery Nav Pro.
