Correct MPG

Hey,

So I currently have a VW Polo(background over)

I viewed a VW bora highline 1.9tdi (100 break engine)

Its done 110k miles, with only part service history. a few bits of service history say cambelt was done at 85k. happy to sell for £1850

Car seems generally in good condition, drives okay from my limited knowledge of diesels.

My issue is that on the onboard computer it reads an average of 38MPG, this is just a general mix of driving. Does this seem low? I would have thought it would of been much better, im also sure he said he drove down to Manchester at the weekend(based in colchester) and was only getting 50mpg?

Anyway I could be thinking this wrong but thought this would be a good place to ask!

Depends on the driving, not sure if the 100bhp gives that great MPG anyway. Best off with the PD130
