    Hi...

Anyone done or know if its possible to retro fit the 8" Touch screen from the 6.5" screen.
Not bothered about the touch facility, just a bigger screen.

    Thx

    Martin

My wife's car has a touch screen (not an Audi). I thought it would be cool, but it is pretty tricky to use compared to the MMI input.

You need to replace the 5F module, RMC will not support the larger screen.

What is the above... With the above plus the 8" screen I guess it's going to cost. Any idea how much.

Thought the "MMI Touch" meant the screen was touch.
If not then can the 8" screen on the MMI plus system be retro fitted to replace the 6.5" standard screen.
    Thx

Ah right, no the touch but refers to a touch pad that also comes with it next to the gear lever so you can draw numbers and letters on it for inputting into the satnav.

I believe it can be done but it very expensive
