My 1.8 Mk3 has lost two cylinders. After a 10 mile journey and a fifteen minute stop the car started with an obviouse miss.It was very similar to a condensed distributer cap or water shorting plug leads. The return trip was punctuated with miss fires and smooth running.I changed plugs, leads, cap and rotor still as bad . Prior to this the VW never missed a beat. Any ideas.
