    Hello,

I have bought the bigger and colour dash board (gauges and screen) so that I can fit it to my car. Previusly I had the black and white version.

Unfortunately the car from which I bought the new dashboard had the ACC option. I was able to code the instrument cluster and teach it that my car doesn't have ACC.
But the ACC red light is still on, no matter what I do.

Does anybody know a sollution for my problem?

    Thank you.

The cluster will have component protection enabled. Take it to Audi.

To get the ACC light out then you need to retrofit the whole ACC as the two clusters are completely different. If you don't want to retrofit then I suggest buying the correct cluster for the cart to suit the spec fitted.

You need to find a cluster without ACC as there is specific firmware to support ACC, so it cannot be disabled in coding. You may be able to flash the cluster with non ACC firmware, but I'm not sure where you would the firmware files from, and there is a risk of bricking the cluster.

    Hello again.

    Problem solved.

I have mounted it to audi because of the component protection. But they left me with this problem. I have solved it myself. (see pic before and after).
I took some time and played around with the coding from the dash board. (i used the ODIS, not VAG-COM). In Audi Romania, they tried to code it with VAG-COM but it wouldn't accept it.

The problem was with the Cruise Control. Every time when I wanted to activate it, I received an error and the coding could not be performed. I have left it as not available in the coding and now everything works. And also the cruise control works as befire, just that now you don't see the green light in the dash board when it is active.

The only problem left is that the car now shows the ODO from the dashboard, so now I have 36000 km instead of 100000.

See pics so that you can understand better. Sorry for the clarity, just some photos that I found in my phone to show the difference.

Hope this post will help somebody in the future. It is possible to replace the dash board! previously I had the small black and white version.
