Hi,

can anyone help me to properly adjust the dipped beam on a xenon healight with manual level adjustment (retrofitted). It seems to me that the headlights are not properly installed, so before I remove the bumper to install them (as per instructions from ElsaWin), I need to know one thing (right-hand traffic):

Each of the headlights contain an "edge" on the dipped beam light line. I assume that it exists in order for us to have a better vision of the part of the road which is in our direction (and not the opposite direction, so we do not blind the cars from it). I also assume that edges from both headlights should overlap. What i do not know is where the headlight edge should start "growing up". This is a lateral adjustment of the headlight (not vertical), which is done through one of the two white plastic screws on the headlight (the other one is for vertical).

So, where should this edge start up? I have marked with "x" some of the possible scenarios, to give you a better understanding of what I am asking.

Thanks.
