My car is a 2009 A3 sportback 1.6 petrol and im looking to buy some 17 inch new shape 8v alloys for it. Done some research and I think they will fit ok, everything is the same apart from the ET mine is ET56 and 8v alloys are ET51, thats the bit im not sure about, just looking for some confirmation from someone more knowledgeable on here.
    Thanks in advance.

that difference is so little you'll not even notice it as its only going to sit out 5mm more presuming the width of the wheel is the same.

Did exactly this on mine recently and they fit just fine, filling out the arches nicely.
