I have couple of oil leak issues: one leak from turbo to oil return pipe, and another somewhere from oil sump.

I ordered the sump rubber gasket / seal (044103609D) anticipating that it'll be a simple removal and replacement of the seal that I can do myself. Then I saw the diagram of the AFN engine and it looks like the same gasket is integrated on the oil surge lock (037115220B). Then I saw that the sump is rather a big part and there's a big bar that goes across the sump (engine mount bar?) which to me looks too complicated for a DIY.

The questions are:

1. Is it easy to replace the sump seal or does the engine need to be suspended for this job (which isn't suitable for DIY)

2. Do the rubber seal and surge lock go together (which on top of which?) or is it either the seal only or with the surge lock?

I think this needs to be dealt at a garage, but I wanted to ask first to understand what is needed to resolve the issue.

Many thanks in advance.
