    can anyone recommend a good place to buy metal, german style pressed no. plates?

    these do look OK.. ish...

    however i know the police are starting to have a clamp down on them.. £60 fine and 3 points per illegal plate.

    I buy mines from www.germanplates.com

    I have had them on my car for 4 years with no problem, even during the MOT

    It's obviously up to you if you want to risk it.....best of luck

    dubmeister is very good for german plates.

    police getting very strict with plates,

    ive been told by police tho...

    that u can get away with it if u have a set of normal plates with the gb band in them in the boot of the car, you can just say u have been told already and are going to fit the gb plates back on as soon as possible.

    one of my friends was simply told:..say u were at a dub show and they are show plates and just never got round to changing the plates back lol...

    again tho, up to urself if willing to take risk.

    it depends that the copper who pulls you at the end of the day, if he needs to increase is figures... then the fine will be yours...

    its a risk... you decide..
