    How much should a new starter motor for a B6 2.0 TDI cost?
    How long should it take to fit it?

    I've been quoted 1.5 hours + £200+vat for the part.
    VW PASSAT SE TDI 140 AUTO 2007 (07 reg)

    It's under the air box on top on the gearbox on my 170 DSG which is pretty accessible - seen them in the most ridiculous places on other cars so easier on most Passat 2.0 Tdi. Took me half an hour and cost £105 for the starter motor at ECP a couple of years ago. First timers would take an hour I would think without any pondering, hiccups, tea breaks, photo taking etc.
