unfortunately with mmi basic you're very limited to what you can add.

finding a xcarlink or dension will be your best bet as the audi music interface (you've linked a connection cable for this btw) won't work in your car with its current setup.

So the parrot system I suggested won't work either? That's very annoying if that is the case.

yup parrot will work too but with the desion/xcarlink it gives you a small amount of integration to the mmi.

Ah right I see... So with that, can I change song/input etc via the MMI? I'm guessing with the parrot it won't like to my MMI so I would have to use the parrot itself to do anything? Other parrot systems I've had can Link to the steering wheel. Not sure about this one however.

Another question guys... The parrot system in looking at will fit the A6 with 4 speakers and the MMI basic. It mentions that it won't fit a 10 speaker model.

Mine is an MMI basic plus (it has nav) but I'm sure it has 4 speakers, not 10. It has a subwoofer too.

I'm not sure what the standard speaker set-up is.. I know of the Bose and bang system. However mine Ian neither of those. Just wanted to know if it will fit?

If not then I guess I'll have to get the Desion
