A6 Avant roof bars

Hi,
I'm looking for the lowest profile roof bars I can get for my A6 Avant on order.

I've been looking into the same thing. Thule wing bars have the lowest profile. Its the feet that are the challenge. Most lift them up from the roof quite a bit to give good clearance. I'm looking to keep the bars as tight to the roof as I can.

Am looking at the edge wingbars for later in the year, low profile and as the avant's mountings are already low, it's just a case of trying to mould it into a single item that looks the part.

I have had the Thule Wing Bars on my Passat for the past 4 years, they are great. My roof system is the triggers broom of roof racks dating back to my 1999 A3, so I am open to the idea of complete new system. I am doubting if I can better it though.

I want them as close to the roof as possible.

I have just fitted Thule Wingbars on my A6 Avant, you don't even know they are there, no noise whatsoever, fitting takes a bit of time lining it up etc, but in my opinion well worth it.

i've just changed my car to an A7 and have the wingbar edge setup for sale from my Avant. 12 months old and other than needing a clean they are like new.
