    Hi Everyone

I've noticed a smell of egg when my Audi is worked hard. Its fine driving normally, but when (for example) you drive it hard (overtaking etc) and then engine exceeds say 4000 rpm, you then get a smell of sulphur/ egg through the air vents.

There's no engine management light or any change in performance

    Many Thanks

    Ok Thanks

How do you overcome an overfuelling issue?

I'd start with a diagnostic scan, if it's been going on for a while you may need to replace the cat and/or lambdas

    Cheers for that,

Bloke I bought it off a couple of years ago said Cat had been changed... I'll have to look through paperwork to see if I can find proof. I did replace the front Lambda about a year ago because the engine management light started to come on and a diagnostic scan said it was that which was faulty. Did cure it at the time.

Genuine Lambda or Bosch, the cheaper ones can create problems without throwing a code. Get a VCDS scan first if you don't know anyone that has it look on this map for a member of this site near you. https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer...8.kMTwqF0PoXwc
