I rencently bought this car with a suspect turbo failure and over the last 4 days have been doing a lot of jobs to it to get it running right. The jobs I have done include replacing the turbo, 2 bottom arms with drop links, mass air flow meter, cleaned the oil pick up pipe and now I have just found that the oil breather pipe is broke and I am waiting on a new 1 to replace ( I have checked all the pipe under the inlet and all are good apart from the said 1) also a rear caliper and rear brake pads
( I'm glad I got the car cheep as it has cost me a small fortune lol)
anyway I have been getting the fault code 17705 pressure drop between turbo and throttle valve I think it says and that's all I'm getting im not using a vcds to get the code but could this possible have some sort of connection to the traction control light being on as I have seen that the aum is a very fussy system and a lot of thing are linked?

The traction light is probably due to a failed abs sensor or a poor connection or it may be turned off

I'm not getting any abs faults or any other faults apart from the one mentioned in 1st post and it did go off yesterday after using the car for a while but then when I came back to it this morning to sort the oil pick up out as it was throwing the oil check light up it came back on and never back off

You need a proper scan with VCDS, look here for someone near you off this site https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer...8.kMTwqF0PoXwc

I know someone who has vcds and also does remapping who is a good friend but I just thought I would try and get some more info before I ask them to come and scan it.
