Weird noise from engine (TDi PD130 2003)

My car is a November 2003 Passat tdi pd130s. It has covered 37k approx and has been making a noise that clearly should not be happening. When the car has been in the office car park all day, particularly on a hot day, a few minutes after starting it will make a hissing / shrieking niose. The first time it happened was on a very hot day this summer and the noise was so loud that I nearly crashed the car. It sounded like a very high pressure hiss and only lasted a second on so. The dealer has replaced the radiator, and checked the turbo and all the belts and can not find any fault. The car's driving is completely anaffected but I am worried that there will be a breakdown, almost certainly after my warranty expires next month! The niose does occur fairly often, is only ever for a second or so, but it's not as loud as it used to be, and now sounds more like a quick shriek than a hiss. Does any one have any ideas?

Try starting your car with the climate control turned off a few times if the fault is not there then suggest air con compressor starting to seize up causing drive belt squeel especially if its worse on a hot day the compressor has to work harder hope thats of some help
