It'll probably be the exhaust from the supplementary heater. If you look under the driver's side front might see the little exhaust pipe.

It depends on how much, it should be a barely visible vapour -more smell than smoke.

The car above isn't normal, the diesel isn't combusting fully.

webasto exhaust pipe is most likely cracked where it comes out of the unit and bends round 180 degrees using a bellows piece of flex pipe. Take out the lower os bumper fog light grille to see the pipe.

Is it like this? https://plus.google.com/113891539874...ts/jPRmv4DmhyH If so it will probably require a software update. I've been through this on both the Tourans I have had although the first was much worse than this (it was an 06). If it is an 07 face lift you shouldn't see it working as VW changed the heater exhaust routing so it was far less obvious. Best of luck!

My 04 Touran was like this for part the first winter I owned it. If you don't know it's there it's a right shocker!

I recommend you let the webasto 'time-out' rather than turning it off with the aircon button when your screen is clear - I think mine was just clogged with crud and eventually cleared itself.
