1.6 FSI - grumbling noise on load

Help please. I have a 2003 1.6 FSI Touran that's covered 75k. Recently I've found it appears to make a deep grumbling noise when accelerating under load. It seems to get quieter once the car has reached temperature. I've replaced the flexi pipe that comes from the down pipe at the front of the exhaust as that had a hole in it. But the noise is still there. It does seem to have got worse the past week and seems to be louder when the weather is cold. The rest of the exhaust seems new and doesn't blow. The car pulls fine in all gears. When the car is on tick over the engine is fine and has no noise.

I have starting to think this was exhaust related again. I've been all through the exhaust and can see no holes and everything seems sounds enough with no rattles of baffles being damaged etc. But I still have the groaning noise. It comes in on about 20% load when accellerating.

I got the following fault codes this morning also when I ran a check - 19490, 05410, 18068

any ideas, anyone????

I took the car to the local kwik fit yesterday to get the exhaust system tested. They confirmed what I thought in that nothing is wrong with the exhaust system.
So the noise is this present. I've booked the car into a local garage later this week for another opinion.

A scan with VCDS or VAS-PC would be helpful, lots of members of this site have VCDS and will scan your car.

The car went to a local garage today and it is now running nice and quiet again. It was the exhaust the garage that had fit the flexi pipe for me had left the exhaust touch the body work so it vibrated under load. They took it off and refit the exhaust and now I have a quiet car again. Strange how the national high street exhaust place didn't spot that.
