So I've scanned my A4 today to try and figure out why one side of my audi is hot?? Drivers side is maintaining a normal temperature but not so on the passenger side! HVAC has gone a bit odd... Nothing on VCDS. Any ideas? I recon a flap/motor issue but unsure where to start.

You say nothing on VCDS but have you gone into measuring blocks and watched the flap angles as you press the buttons on clima unit ?

Try an output test to see if flaps are working.

Thanks for the replies... Checking measuring blocks is new territory for me so I'll have to figure it out. I learnt about adaptions during my last fault, but hey, every days a school day!

Hi. You can often fix this type of issue by doing a reset in VCDS basic settings for the HVAC. Try that first.

I had a similar issue a couple of years ago and it worked for me with lasting results.
