As advised earlier eBay probably not the best way to go. I believe some sellers may be selling rebadged Asian made junk, you really only find out when they go wrong. Is there no motor factor that you can walk into? If not at least Eurocarparts or GSF have some comeback.

I bought it from ebay, all works fine I think, I got better brakes definitely.

When I was doing bleeding for brakes, I did open vent for each side (separately) and press the brake pedal down, once I see brake fluid going out I closed vent. Was it correct way of bleeding ?

Ebay? For brakes? As in the things that stop your car? EBAY? Really?

    Good luck

ebay is fine as long as you buy from a reputable company selling known brands. if you just find the cheapest non branded stuff that claims to be made by brembo for a quid, then good luck to you.

I bought Mintex discs and brake pads. It was exactly the same as in eurocarparts or any other store, but 10-15 GBP cheapers.

That's not the best way to bleed the brakes, you need either vacuum, easibleed style or an assistant

remove cap on resevoir, connect a clear hose to the caliper bleed nipple and into a jar. Assistant pushes brake pedal while you open bleed nipple with spanner. hold brake pedal down while closing nipple...raise brake pedal and repeat until no more air bubbles are seen in clear tube. Check resevoir level regularly or you'll be bleeding the whole system!

Edzha- for peace of mind I suggest you get a garage to bleed/ change your brake fluid and check the brakes over while doing it. Keep the invoice that shows this has been done and show it to prospective buyers to prove that the brakes have been inspected at a garage, it should help you sell the car later in the summer. Some buyers are wary of jobs done at home, especially brakes!

^^Might be a plan^^ A garage or dealer will change the brake fluid for small money (this should be done every 2 years whether you're selling of keeping the car)

To bleed the brakes with an assistant you start with the wheel furtherest from the reservoir. Fill the reservoir with fluid and attach a small snug fitting pipe to the bleed nipple. Put an inch of brake fluid into a disposable container and put the other end of the pipe into the container so as the end of the pipe is submerged in the brake fluid. Have the assistant pump the pedal until it's firm them hold the pedal down. Open the bleed nipple and fluid/air should be seen in the pipe coming from the nipple. When the pedal hits the floor close the bleed nipple and release the pedal. Repeat until fluid without air bubbles come out of the nipple then move on to the next wheel.
