    Hi,

I have a 110bhp Golf TDI that starts fine unless the weather gets cold. So it has been fine for months until the temperature has dropped this week.
It seems that this may be caused by a couple of things.
Possibly the temperature sender, though this works fine on the dash. is it worth replacing regardless?
The other cause could be air in the fuel lines: indeed I can see bubbles trapped near thefuel filter. How do I go about removing these?
Any other suggestions? (Battery and glow plugs on the vehicle are all new).

    Pete

That air should be there, don't worry about it. Get a fault code read done. Are the glow plugs actually working?
