Since replacing the front brake discs and pads I have a noise at slow speed but then after driving for a while it disappears , but then after the car has been stopped for a while the noise returns , it sounds like something is catching ??? , the pads were cheap and dont have a directional arrow on them so I am thinking it is just the cheap pads causing the problem ???? any ideas ??????

This is probably the pad quality but even high quality one can do this when they cool down.

You checked the backing plate behind the disk?

Very easy to bend when doing a brake job.....it will then rub on the disk and make a row.. when you go faster, it's drowned-out by all the other rows...
