The 3.2, reliable ..... Well it can be once the chains and variators have been done and the Mechatronic unit changed, we have a TT1 in now which we have just done. £2K for a new Mechatronic and the chains rattle like mad at start up.

Thanks for the reply, btw Im not about converting dsg to stronic, if seen a rs3 and 2010+ s3 when the shift they make that thump/pop or fart sound when it shifts. I have seen videos of a5 3.2 v6 stronic make the similar sound, I want to know of this will be possible with a a3 3.2 v6 dsg, im sure the engine and gearbox mechanisms are the same. So how would I make the a3 sound like the a5.

Do you understand the layout differences between the transverse A3 platform and the longitudinal A5? One is pure VW the other pure Audi.....

I know but I'm sure that wouldn't have much impact, how about the exhaust system. Im sure the Audi rs5 exhaust system had an mechanism where it drops fuel to pop.
