I know it means crawling under the car in the snow, but perhaps you could just disconnect the electrical connector from the Aux heaters fuel pump. I'm sure it's mounted around the fuel tank somewhere. If it's not getting any fuel it wont create any smoke.

    Jim.
Thank you Jim! I will just need to brave the cold and see what I can do! Much appreciated!

    An Update:

By not requesting instant heat inside, I managed to reduce the amount of smoke this morning, only sparsely doing such when I stopped. It's very temperamental, only wishing to embarrass me when folk are around Hahaha

So checked the fuses, found the heater is in fact fuse 12 which is also for the AC - my AC unit does not work and was disconnected when I bought the car - so I pulled the fuse and monitored the driving and inside conditions. The Aux Heater does not fire on now, no smoke, and the car heats up as should as normal cars do. It sits perfectly at 90c (half way) and varies down to about 75 ish when I request full heat on full blower. Obviously, I reckon you could not use the back heaters and have the car sweltering hot with the AUX disabled, I also think it will take a wee bit longer to get the car up to it's temperature for optimal driving. It does drive perfectly fine though.

Must do job before next winter, but in the time being, I can drive without the stress of the last few days.

Thank you everyone, greatly appreciated and I hope this helps someone with similar problems .
