    Hi all,

we have a 2012 Avant and about a month ago I noticed the filler flap wouldn't always ping open. It then decided to play ball and we've had no issues for the last month.
My wife has gone to fill up tonight and he presto can't open it for love nor money.
    Anyone had this problem ??

    Thanks in advance
    Andy

Common problem. Open from inside boot area. Then back to dealers.

It's in the manual. Just in case.

Thanks Whippy, read the manual and found the plastic pull cord but this made no difference it still wouldn't open it.

After bashing it for what seemed 10 minutes it popped open. Put a tooth pick down the little grommet and sprayed a load of GT85 spray

    down inside and "hey presto".

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

    Andy

I would still get it checked, especially if the pull cord didn't work. Wouldn't want to get caught out.
