B7 Passat RNS315 Antenna Problem?

My first use of VCDS brought up the following below. It seems to indicate that I have an open circuit (diconnected?) antenna. Anyone have any advice please?
Scan taken on Samsung laptop running Windows 7 and VCDS v. 11.11.6. (Beta 12.10 gives same result)

Clear it and I bet it won't come back.

Someone has disconnected the aerial while the radio was switched on hence the error.

Thanks for swift response. Will give that a try and continue to monitor. Don't know when aerial might have been disconnected as car was bought new in December 2012. Will report back if error reappears.

Did a clear and fault still showing. May visit local VW to investigate further.

Why would a dump of another one help? You probably now have a dead booster or the likes. How old is the car, still in warranty?

I thought it would be interesting to see if this was peculiar to my car or perhaps a more general problem. Car is shortly going in for service and I have requested that they look at this under warranty. Will report back.

I have the exact same problem with my 60 plate Passat. Cleared it and it comes back. Can you tell me what they said when you took it in under warranty?

Car went in for its service today at VW dealership. They seem to think a replacement 'module' is required and have arranged for this to be fitted this coming Friday. Will do my own re-scan between now and then as they (VW) think fault may be cleared anyway. Will report back later.
