A6 Avant S-line 2.0 190 vs 3.0 218

I was reading technical data in new A6 brochure and found that 2.0 190PS and 3.0 218 PS make exactly same torque 400Nm. Is that really correct? It says the front wheel drive version of 3.0 218PS makes 400Nm but same engine quattro makes 500Nm.
Acceleration (0-62) figures are
8.2s for 190,
7.1 for FWD 218
(6.6 for the quattro 218).
What about acceleration 30-70mph? If they make same torque , would that be the same? I can't find any data.
Any thoughts?

The 218 engine (if anything like the 204 it replaced) is an overly detuned flavour of the 3.0 engine. Given the relatively small cost differential, if you want a 3.0 go for the 272 engine.

The peak torque is the same, but the 3.0 delivers it over a much wider rev range.

I would love to go for the 272 engine. That one accelerates in 5.7 seconds to 62!
Has anyone gone for Dynamic suspension in S-line/BE? I believe that is the same setup as in SE.
