does anyone know what size wheel spacers I can fit to my q7 if I am running 295/30/22 wheels and tyres?

whats is the widest I can have?

I have just baught a set of really nice wheels but have a 5x112 fitment rather than 5x130.

I have lowered it aswell but really want to fill my arches out and get a real mean stance.

    Thanks

you would need to now the width and offset of the original wheels and the new wheels, then work out from the old wheels how much further out you can go without a tyre contacting the arch on full lock ad full suspension travel, then when you know all that you can work out how wide the adaptors need to be to put the new wheels in the right place.

I could be wrong but would 5 x 112 fit if your original wheels are 5 x 130 as that figure is your wheel stud pcd and that won't change no matter what wheel you fit ??

Most people with standard offset 21's run 18mm front and 23mm rear to stance the Q7. so the wheel is inline with the tip of the arch.

You also need to work out what offset your new wheels are and if you will have any space for adapters.

Regarding whether you can get adapters is another thing. you can get them with 5x112 hub bolt and 5x130 wheel bolt, but the other way round???

Ok what is the standard stud pattern of the Q7 hub? If it is 5 x 112 then that is the diameter of bolt holes and surely to adapt by means of bolting an adapter ring to the hub with new holes at a diameter of 5 x 130 seems to be a lot of faffing about to me personally (or the other way round 5 x 130 to 5 x 112).
Surely if the wheels are new can you not get the wheels in the correct PCD, and if you got the wheels from a alloy wheel dealer they should of also known they weren't the correct PCD size surely?.

Yes the Q7 PCD is 5x130, so the hub and the original wheels will have that pattern.

In the aftermarket dub scene etc they run Bentley, Porsche or other Audi wheels on their cars with a PCD of 5x112 but because of the demand instead of a plain spacer there are hub adapters which bolt to the 5x112 hub but have more holes at the 5x130. However i have never seen them the other way.

I would ebay the wheels and get some more personally as the chew will be a nightmare.
