    Hello everybody again!!! Last night i bought a4 b6 1.9 tdi 2001. With sporty front and rear bumpers. In daylight start looking umder the hood and find loads of things need doing. So i want to ask:
    Or ALL A4 B6 FRONT SLAM PANEL/RADIATOR HOLDER ARE THE SAME????
    coz on my car both sides are badly rusty.thanks again to all you

    I know what you mean, mine are like that as well. I spoke to my friendly bodyshop and they reckon it doesn't come as just the strip on the top like most vehicles, but as a big chunk of the front end....

    M8.your friendly shop know no audi's=)) its come apart and im nearly there to take off. Got part nr too. Just looking to find one. 1.9 and 1.8t looks very similar. But before buying want to know or they have same mountings etc..

    Err well they clearly do as at the time he was showing me on another Audi that had the front end in bits. Possibly it was a B7 model (was difficult to tell as it had considerable damage!) so that could explain it... Would like to see some pics as if it is a simple unbolt job I may well take mine off and clean it up.

    Put lock carrier in service position.take lights off.disconnect all electric plugs.drain coolant.disconnect hoses. And what is left just ac cooler dont disconnect it try to remove off holder with hoses connected. Im at this point right now. Will post what i did next then get panel

    Did you get any further with this? Had a more detailed look at mine and the plastic moulding that is part of the slam panel does seem to go right down the front end just like the one in the bodyshop. Would be interested in some pics.....
