Are the rear lights on the SE Saloon the same as the ones on the S-line saloon ?

IE , in the brochure it states the S-line has LED rear lights , but does not say either way about the SE

    many thanks

Im sure it's the same as the prefacelift, if the car is specced with xenon or led headlights in both se and s-line trim then they get led tail lights too. same thing on the c6.

I spent a lot of time on this, the SE, if NOT spec'd with Bi-Xenon's (a £1,200 option) then you don't get LED DRL's or the LED rear lights. All S-Line models have this as standard. My A6 I've just got is an SE model (don't really like the harder suspension on the S-Line) and I looked for ages for one with the Bi-Xenon's as an option as I love the lights...

On the facelift the SE gets Xenons and the S-Line LED headlights and LED taillights. OP is not clear if he talking about pre or post facelift. There is a question whether the facelift SE and the S-LIne get the same LED taillights, as the the S-line has the sequential indicators and the SE the standard flash, but not enough examples around to answer the question

per his post above it is a 2011 car so pre-facelift and therefore no sequential indicators

No sequential things, at least I don't think so... Any idea how to check this?

And yes, should have said, in my original post, that's for a pre facelift model.

    From what I've read...

Prefacelift has LED rear lights if it is a S-Line trim level, or if it has Xenon/LED headlights chosen as an option. If it is an SE, with the regular Halogen headlights, then it will not have LED rear lights. But as the SE mentioned by Q7quattro has the Xenon headlights option chosen then it will have LED rear lights.

All facelift cars now have LED rear lights fitted as standard. The Dynamic Rear Indicators come from being an S-Line trim level, or having the LED/LED-Matrix headlights chosen as an option.
