Hi, I recently changed my '98 2.8 quattro Avant for a '03 (53 reg) 3.0 quattro Avant. The new car currently unlocks all four doors and the tailgate and flashes the indicators (no beep of the horn) with one press of the remote button and locks everything, again with a flash of the indicators but no horn beep with one press of the remote. I would like to recode it so it unlocks the drivers door with one press then everything else with a second press and a flash of the indicators, and locks everything with one press, a flash of the indicators and a beep of the horn. This is what the '98 car did. Does anybody know the correct coding for this or have any helpful information to this end? Thanks in advance.

Done it! Using Vag-com, add 1024 to the existing soft code value for the central locking control module to give the beep of the horn when locking (or a chirp of the alarm siren to be more precise). Then add 0004 to the new value to change the single press unlocking of everything to one press for driver's door, second press for everything else (security/safety central locking as I believe it's called)
