Hi guys, I\ve got a little bit of a problem with my B7 recently, just a day after I picked up the car from garage after replacing the chain and tensioner behind the engine, the car started behaving weird.
On cold engine EPC light comes on and car goes into limp mode unti it reaches 90 degrees then I stop and sytart the engine and it's fine, it doesn't come back till the next morning. Hooked up my VCDS to see if theres any errors and it keeps on giving me this:
    1 Fault Found:

    008852 - Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (N276)
    P2294 - 004 - Open Circuit - Intermittent
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 00100100
    Fault Priority: 0
    Fault Frequency: 1
    Reset counter: 255
    Mileage: 172644 km
    Time Indication: 0

    Freeze Frame:
    RPM: 1730 /min
    Load: 69.4 %
    Speed: 35.0 km/h
    Temperature: 59.0°C
    Temperature: 8.0°C
    Absolute Pres.: 1000.0 mbar
    Voltage: 14.351 V

Obviously went back to the garage and valve and hpfp looks fine. Any ideas please guys?

Hi mate, looks pretty much the same, how you had it scanned for faults?
I think with mine was hpfp the problem as the pressure regulator on top of the hpfp was cracked. Only replaced it two days ago and so far so good mate
