    Hey

Have a new B7. Like some others on this forum, i too have the rattling dash/console.

However, mine is coming from this clock. If i press it down, it stops

So must be something lose behind it

    Anyone know how to remove?

To remove the clock you need to remove the trim around the speedo head. The trim on the passenger side of the dash and the radio surround trim. These trims all just pry off.
You need to remove the screws securing the radio and pull it out of the dash a little. The clock should then lift out of the dash.

    Jim.

I think on your model Passat the airbag warning light is on the trim around the heater controls. So no, I don't think you'll have any problems with airbag lights or such.

Hi yus786, here is a solution. No need to permanently remove clock as VeeBub people have obviously forgotten to insulate plastic. I have a simple solution, watch my Youtube video. Trust this helps.
