Now I am driving to and from work in the dark, I am puzzled to see that the interior light pack is quite dim. I have the ambient mmi setting up to max and can barely see the illumination in the foot well. For example if I turn the mmi rheostat down to half way, I can barely see that lighting at all. I didn't even now I had illuminated door cards until recently!

By contrast the wife's 2011 A1 also has the int. light pack. The foot well lights are very bright and she has turned the control down below half way. Also, the overhead lighting in hers is LED whereas my C7 is tungsten.

Not sure if this a model trait with the C7 or whether there is a fault. Can anyone comment please?

I'd guess there must be an issue with your car. The illuminations in mine are very noticeable and you need to turn them right down before they go 'off'.

To get LED overhead lighting you needed to go for the second more expensive Lighting Pack. You can upgrade yourself providing you get CANBUS compatible lights. Search on this forum and you will find discussions about this plus links to suppliers of suitable bulbs

I have mine set at 50% and that's bright enough for me so sounds like yours is not quite right.

I've got both light packs on mine, and when on 100% the lights are a decent brightness that you'd definitely notice.

Thank you all for your feedback. Seems something is definitely wrong. This morning car, appears to have a total flat battery with nothing obviously left on overnight. Not even immobiliser light flashing on doors. Waiting for RAC as I write. Wonder if problems are connected?
