    Hello, would be grateful if anyone could please advise on which oil to use for my 2008 petrol 1.4 Golf TSI GT?

    Your car manual should tell you the recommended grade.
    As it's a turbo engine, a full synthetic oil is a must.
    Likely a 5W30

    If you want to keep long life intervals you will need a 5w30 oil with VW spec 504.00/507.00....

    If you want to change oil annually or after 10k miles (whichever is earlier) you can use 502.00, preferably 5w40 or 0w40 - which I would suggest on any 1.4 TSI....

    Works out cheaper if u buy a 20 litre drum..
