    hi guys i have found i have a black tube with a blue strip on it which i think connects to turbo but other end runs along bulkhead and goes through passenger side wing beside washer bottle but this tube seems very loose can any one tell me where it goes to ?

    Maybe mentioning the engine fitted might help the pointy heads figure out what it is.

    There's a vacuum accumulator under the wing, if the pipe will be loose/not connected the car will be slower than a slug !

    On my previous 2.5 Diesel Allroad, I had a front-end crash caused by an ABS fault.

    After being fixed, it was constantly back and forward to the Crash Repair place because they'd forgotten something or yet another fault had developed.

    It was actually returned 8 times before I gave up and sold it...

    I noticed that more times than not, it would come back with absolutely no performance at all. When I complained, they just fobbed me off with the usual "feels ok to us" BS..

    Thanks to adamss24 explanation above, I now know what was really happening...

    just had a vacuum gauge on pipe from accumulator and at tick over it reads about 6" do i have a leak in the system

    think my vacuum pump is shot as it is covered in anti freeze due to a leak dripping down on it
