Have just done a major faux-pas while installing my heated seats.
I removed the fusebox and accidentally touched the fat black/yellow main supply cable to earth!
There's now no power to the fusebox. Does anyone know if this has its own fuse and where it is?
    Thanks

It'll be one of the main fuses right at the battery that will have popped. You'll probably need to get one from the dealer though. It'll be something like 100-150Amp strip fuse.

Cheers Jim, there is a big fuse next to the battery but its ok.
Power to the fuse box seems to come from relay 53. Have pulled the relay and it works fine but when I turn the ignition on it doesn't click over...
I don't have access to a wiring diagram so am completely stuck

The fusebox is supplied from relay No.2 in the diagram. The power leaves the relay carrier via terminal 75X below relay 1. Is that the location of relay 53?

Ah ok, relay 53 is location 1 above - I presumed this switched 75x due to its proximity. I'll check relay 2 now, thanks for that info

Relay 2 was clicking but contacts burnt out and not making contact. Will get a new one from Audi. Thanks Flash2 without your info I would not have sourced the problem!
