a6 1.9tdi turbo boost problem not effected by turning on off!

Hello all ok bought audi a6 1.9 awx 130 engine with the usual turbo problem turn off and on again and it resets.I replaced all vacuum hoses and the map sensor and the car drove great for about 6 months then one day as I was accelerating hard up a sliplane there was a slightloss of power,this felt like the old turbo problem but kicks back in again without restarting engine,it has got progressively worse over 4months,until now.when you turn it on first thing from cold its great no problems til its warm then turbo boost comes and goes literally like you Are flicking a switch on off on off for half an hour approx but on a long journey it goes completely until you let engine cool.any ideas?
